Rimaz Ahmed, a local Maldivian, has been part of the diving community for 16 years, bringing a deep understanding of the Maldives’ unique marine ecosystems. His experience with the reefs and local biodiversity has made him an expert in guiding divers through some of the most beautiful underwater environments the country has to offer. As Assistant Dive Centre Manager at Siyam World, Rimaz combines his passion for diving with his leadership skills to enhance every guest’s experience.

Rimaz holds an impressive array of certifications, including deep, night, wreck, and NTX diving, as well as freediving, sidemount, and CCR diving. His expertise in marine and shark ecology allows him to offer specialized experiences for guests, ensuring safety while sharing the wonders of the underwater world. What Rimaz enjoys most about his role at Sun Diving is witnessing the excitement of divers as they explore, learn, and encounter the rich marine life of the Maldives.
